motorcycle license/endorsement
An motorcycle license/endorsement is an driver's license for 2-wheeled motor vehicle.
In being able to legal to drive a motorcycle on the paved road, you have to acquire a motorcycle license, common known as motorcycle endorsement, that certifies you to operate a 2-wheeled motor vehicle. In the Washington, classes are done by a certain hour limit, but most course only take 2 to 3 partial days to complete. In these courses you will start out in the classroom and go over rules of road and riding technique. Then the 2nd day will be spent on the bike at their training facility going through different drills and patterns on the bike and the final day is left to take the riding test and the knowledge test.I will be taking a class with a format in which I will start on a Friday night from 6 pm to 8 pm, Saturday from 1 pm to 8 pm, and then Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.
I will also be getting my learner's permit for my dual sport before I take the class. This will allow me to start riding on road. You can obtain you learners permit by doing to the Department of Licensing, pay a fee to take you knowledge test, and pass it. With this you can start riding on the paved road with a qualified and licensed bike, but it only last for 90 days and only can be renewed 1 time for another 90 period. Practice on a motorcycle can be put in before taking the class to work on your riding skills. There are restrictions on the permit, like you cannot ride at night, that are very similar to a learner's permit for vehicle has. Also after completing the class, you can go back to the D.O.L. and get a refund for the knowledge test you took to get your motorcycle learners permit because you will have taken a similar test during you motorcycle class that overrides the D.O.L's knowledge test fee.
